So, youā€™ve decided to invite a white supremacist to speak at your college campus? Bravo, truly. What better way to elevate the intellectual atmosphere than by bringing in someone whose ideas have been as outdated as dial-up internet? Nothing says "academic excellence" quite like giving a platform to someone whose resume includes "spreading hate" and "misunderstanding history."

Letā€™s be clear: this isnā€™t a debate. This isnā€™t a "thought-provoking discussion." Itā€™s more like hosting a masterclass in how to waste your tuition fees on nonsense. Iā€™m sure the guest speakerā€™s credentials are impressive if you count being a textbook example of willful ignorance.

At the end of the day, the only thing this lecture will teach is how to lose credibility faster than you can say "freedom of speech." So, congratulations, CMU - if this is what you're calling 'enlightenment,' Iā€™d recommend switching to a lightbulb with a bit more wattage.

As a former student I cannot recommend Colorado Mesa University. The politics of this university are outrageous it is all about who can get a step up on who and who they can screw over in process. It is not a welcoming environment for students. The education is subpar, the faculty is not concerned about the students but the money they bring in. There were several instances throughout my time here that I asked for help or assistance and did not even get a response. They are more concerned about pushing content down the throats if their students than making sure you understand. A person can learn more by simply entering the workforce. I cannot reiterate enough how ripped off I feel by this school, from the lack of care to the lack of actual educating that goes on here. Again donā€™t go here if you actually value your education, it simply isnā€™t worth it. I feel like I have a degree that is useless because I didnā€™t actually learn anything.

I love this School. I graduated here in 2019 with my bachelor's and quickly went on to my Masters. The teachers here are fantastic helpful and genuinely care. If you're looking for an amazing school in Western Colorado, I would highly recommend attending Colorado Mesa University.

I strongly recommend against attending this university. I simply considered it as being an option once, but I ended up deciding on another school, and they said I owed them nearly $700 for a class that I never took. When I refused to pay for it, they sent it to collections for over two years until just now taking it out of my state tax return. Thieves is what they are. Be very careful about applying here because they may just do the same to you, and they will exhaust every peaceful resolution short of going to court, which I suppose I'll now have to do.

Would not suggest this college to anyone. I was considering attending this college but they said I needed to give them transcripts for colleges I never attended or a note I didn't attend these colleges. I said waste of my time and I'll go consider education for career development elsewhere. Never had this issue applying to any other college or going to college anywhere else.

The only bad thing I can say about the school is the fact that some professors were at one point local high school teachers and do not seem to have the level of education as you would want from a college professor. However, I do have a few awesome, absolutely brilliant, experienced professors who truly engage and give students a basis for growth. I love the location and the school atmosphere. When I had applied, I received a phone call two days later from a student telling me I had been accepted.

It is a smaller school and very sports oriented. If you want to do something, Mesa wants to find a way to help you do it and pay for it. I have skied my entire life, but never competed. I walked on to the alpine ski team and Mesa furnished skis, jackets, season passes, lift tickets, race fees, food, condos, and lots of other swag; just for being dedicated, the school paid for 40+ days of skiing with no cost to me (besides tuition).

By far the best college experience I could get for the cheapest cost.

Not an ideal place to spend your money. The politics are quite horrible at this institution and the price you pay for the inexperienced professors is quite unbelievable. The campus has grown so fast and I think they are enjoying the money they have recently come into and are enjoying spending it on all of the big nice buildings/dorms but they need to really work on providing a fair/quality learning environment. If you are a male trying to get into the nursing program good luck. Although if you are a young female with a poor G.P.A. and cry "sexual harassment" on one of your decorated professors you are guaranteed a spot into the nursing program!!
