Fantastic Stay with Outstanding Staff!

I had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree! The rooms are clean, comfortable, and provide everything you need for a relaxing stay—nothing overly fancy, but just right. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. From check-in to check-out, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of.

The breakfast may be an extra cost, but trust me—it’s worth every penny! Easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had, with fresh, delicious options that will leave you satisfied and ready for the day.

Even though the hotel is close to the airport, you won’t hear any plane noise, making it a peaceful and convenient choice. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, comfort, and an amazing breakfast. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Onalee is the best! Would visit again! We visited on a work trip and had some great local beers. The food looked fantastic and the service was amazing. If you are looking for a good place to relax after a flight this is it! Charging to the room is available for those staying in the hotel.

First off Amber T at front desk was amazing. She was helpful when I messed up my reservation. But after that, this place is terrible. Only hotel I've stayed in in last 10 years of heavy travel without a refrigerator in the room. Even Motel 6 has that. So no fridge or microwave. The toilets could not empty in one flush, no matter what was in them. 2 to 3 flushes to have clear water. I stayed from 3/2 to 3/8 and as of 3/6, my room was only cleaned on 3/3. Not sure who I offended. But it's a little ridiculous at this type of hotel. |Here for a business class. We were informed that we could not order food in for a working lunch because the hotel restaurant would lose money. Only problem is the hotel restaurant is not open at lunch, so that adds to it. |Bottom line, save money and headaches and choose a different hotel.

Becka was an amazing server with great attitude and fun demeanor. She was prompt and thoughtful and made sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We had a great evening here on two different nights during our stay. Highly recommended.

I was only there for one quick night - Lounge 743 was da bomb! Nikki and Josh and Becka gave the best service ever! The food was great and breakfast the next morning kept me full until I got back to central Utah. I didn't catch the waitress's name. The room was nice and comfortable as well

The servers at the restaurant, Becka & Amanda did a great job and treat us well, both were attentive and friendly. Also the manager Heather was great and made sure that we were taken care of. The food was delicious. We’ll definitely recommend DoubleTree by Hilton.

OUTSTANDING hotel. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom positively glowed. The mattress was outstanding and soothed my road weary bones. I ordered a gyros at the restaurant and Dan, the chef, prepared the most absolutely delicious gyro.. The pita was perfect...not too dry and perfectly toasted. And the fries were cooked to perfection and lightly salted, just the way I like them. The morning breakfast was also delicious. Because I am a diabetic, I asked for some accommodations for my meal and, Christy, the supervisor, happily granted them. The warm smiles of servers Janet and Jill brightened my morning, and Jose's, the chef, food just made the meal perfection.

At check in, after an absolutely terrifying drive on I 70 on a dark, almost moonless night, through light snow and the whole of the Rocky Mountains, I was greeted by DJ, a pleasant young woman and she gave me two warm chocolate cookies. And I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Double Tree now offers a nut free, vegan and gluten free cookie. As someone who has many relatives with these allergies, I am so glad Double Tree now includes them with these yummy treats.

The lobby and restaurant is warm and inviting, and I found them very attractive.

Then at checkout, I was once again greeted by two warm smiles, Haley and Amber. I told them about my horrendous trip along I 70 and the gave me driving directions which will avoid this road on my way back home. I greatly appreciate their advice.

I am Hilton brand loyal and I can now say the Double Tree is now my preferred hotel in their chain. I have stayed at 4 different Double Trees prior to this one and had outstanding experiences, but this one sealed the deal.

PS: I 70 is named America's most dangerous road for good reason!! If you can avoid this road, especially at night, I highly recommend it. I have driven coast to coast many times, and probably over 300,000 miles in my life, and this was the most terrifying drive of my life. Maybe during the day it is better, but in the evening, this one won the absolutely scariest trip of all.

Great option for convenience to I-70 and the Grand Junction Airport. The DoubleTree offers an airport shuttle and it does start very early in the morning as the airport has several 5am departures (too often other hotels don't start early enough). Just book it in advance at the front desk. Van driver even had cookies.

Property is a little older but well maintained. Received my Hilton Diamond benefits including $15 food and beverage credit, which the great front desk staff advised I could still catch the restaurant while it was open and use it on the nightly prime rib special (which I would have done so if I hadn't just had dinner on my flight from the east). Had an 8th/top floor room away from the elevator. Very quiet even with the interstate nearby.

Several food options around the hotel for fast food too.

If I am back in Grand Junction again, I will book here.
