Overall my stay was great. I really like the breakfast. This time I was in room 312. There is a load noise in that room. I think when the compressor on the roof kicks in, it causes a humming noise/vibration in this room. I ran the fan on low and put earplugs in to sleep. You might want to look into this. Last time I was closer to the elevator and didn't notice it.

Arrived tired after a long day of work and drive. A group of 12 checked in before me. They literally saw me taking out my luggage in the parking area and raced to get ahead of me to the door. The gentleman that checked them in was super patient and super kind, I meanwhile was getting impatient with all their questions, requests, etc. I thought to myself, "great! I hope this does not set the tone for my stay; please hurry. I just want to get to my room". Welp! After 15 minutes, it was my turn. The tone and pleasantness of the gentleman did not change, he apologized for long wait, after small talk "I'm tired, long day at work, long drive, just want to relax"; he gave me a room. The room was A++++. It was away from the elevators, away from the normal noise of kids screaming and running down hall, microwave, fridge, desk, desk lamp, chaise chair, and a nice comfortable bed. Great ambiance; Sleep was fantastic! No noise (even the steam train was part of the ambiance). During the entire stay, there was a hot chocolate bar. Breakfast! KUDOs to the kitchen, breakfast bar staff. They kept the entrees well stocked, they kept the dining area clean (wiped down, seats and tables after diners left the area), kindly mopped up spills. I usually grab and go to avoid the chaos this area brings to a hotel, but not this one. I stayed and enjoyed my breakfast. I cannot say enough. I was excellent. I highly recommend you staying. The hotel stay and the snow and mountains, made me wish my stay was longer than 4 days. I think I have found the place to stay while in Durango. This stay convinced me to come back sooner, rather than later.

This was a great hotel! Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful! I loved sitting on the balcony on the river. If we come back to Durango we will stay here! I only wish there was a hot tub to soak in after a day of skiing

My family loved our stay at this hotel. We enjoyed the delicious and fresh breakfast that was served every morning. The front desk was more than helpful in recommendations around town and even brought us new blankets when we accidentally spilled a drink. Check in was very easy and they had our keys waiting for us!

We stayed for two nights with our dog and was very pleased at the hotel location and design of the hotel!

Thomas was absolutely amazing at the front desk and was very welcoming. He answered all of our questions. Breakfast was good. Best of all there was a garage to park in! The only one negative to our stay is that the walls are very thin and if the room was loud next to you, it was hard to sleep.

He gave great input on places to eat, and created a handwritten summary for us. The hotel’s location, design, cleanliness, and professional staff made for a top-notch experience.

Great location and staff. The room was very nice and comfortable. And the view from our balcony was AMAZING! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and I could make myself a cup of hot chocolate whenever I wanted. Perfect for a quick little couples getaway just before Christmas.

We had a great 4 night stay earlier this month. Rooms & common areas were clean, location was convenient to the river trail & an easy walk to shops/restaurants on Main St., front desk team was all informed & helpful, breakfast was well stocked & managed.
