My friends and I had an excellent meal here after skiing at Copper Mountain. The service was fantastic and our server had alot of great recommendations. The price was fair and the food was very good overall. We will certainly be coming back next time we are in the area, and would highly recommend stopping in.

What a bad experience.

TLDR: food is good; service is not good; place wants to be fancy, but isn’t.

Getting sat was just weird. My wife and I walked in and there were about 7 employees just standing at the bar. Finally after a minute of awkwardness, one approached from the back to say that the “host would be right with us”. When we were finally greeted and asked if we had a reservation, I said no. She said something to the effect of, “we can make that work, but we’ll need the table for a reservation at 7”. Cool, I don’t care. I don’t need to know your reservation details. But let’s be honest, the place was half empty and when we left at 10 minutes to 7PM, it was still half empty. And you clearly had plenty of staff…

Next, Alberto. Which I only know was his name because it was on the receipt. He barely said anything and stopped by the table as infrequently as he could get away with. We ordered an appetizer and when we finished, he mumbled something about keeping our silverware. Now this place is trying to be fancy, and replacing the silverware after an appetizer is something any decent restaurant would do. Is it a big deal to keep your silverware, no, but when you’re trying to be fancy enough to serve some courses “ala carte”, it just doesn’t fit the vibe. Also, after we finished eating, we weren’t even asked if we wanted another drink or desert. Fine with me, I guess you don’t want more of my money.

The food was good. Was it better than dingy place on the other side of town that knows exactly what they’re serving and where. No. The bruschetta was good, but it was literally one piece of bread with a giant dollop of ricotta on it. The dish also felt incoherent, peppers and pine nuts were out of place, but I think the peach, balsamic and ricotta did well together.
The fried chicken sandwich was good. The chicken breast was cooked perfectly. Moist and tender. The potatoes apres ski was just ok, the bacon was kind of piled at the bottom and the cheese half melted.

I would not recommend this place to those visiting Leadville

Love that the food is unique and mostly local. Passing through town on our way to hike Mt. Massive we chose to eat here as a healthy option.

The dining area is clean, quaint, and nicely decorated. The menu listed the gf and v options. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

My travel companion and I both ordered blackened cod with roasted peppers and baked squash with pumpkin seeds. She ordered a beer.

The food was cooked perfectly and was presented nicely. I didn't care for the herb on the fish, but that is my personal preference, nothing against the meal. For desert my friend ordered a cherry crisp. Today is her birthday so they put a candle on it.

I would eat here again.

Treeline is amazing! I absolutely love eating here. So much that I recommend Treeline to all of my Leadville area eloping couples. It is the perfect spot to host a small reception dinner.

This food was friggin’ phenomenal! Treeline Kitchen offers creative combinations in a charming mountain town that had left few options for the more curated pallet. The service was speedy, friendly and accommodating. The ambiance was chill. And, the dishes were so delicious. Would recommend without hesitation!

Looks and feels like a nice restaurant but the food and service don't match the price. I ordered the crab wontons, fried chicken, and spinach greens and the spinach was by far the best part. If I had to guess, the wontons were bought at the Safeway down the road as it had no crab and a miniscule amount of cream cheese. Not a big deal until I saw the fried chicken and realized I was getting ripped off. It was so poorly plated that the person who delivered it practically threw it down and ran away. It definitely felt like the staff knew the food was way below par and avoided interaction because of it. Leadville is a cool town with some good things to offer but this isn't one of them.

The tuna tartare was soooo good. I enjoyed my Colorado new fashioned with slices of peach inside of the glass. My lamb pasta was also good, would have loved if there was a bit more pasta and lamb than tomatoes, though. Worth a visit!

Great food in a nice small place.

My group loved the creamed greens, tuna poke, and lamb pasta! Tired their cocktail special with strawberry and that was yummy!

They have an insane rooftop with a view!

Parking isn't too difficult around there even though it's on the main through way.

There's also a fireplace out front.

Went back a second time: lamb pasta, burrata, and carrot cake were the favs. The warm peach cake was really great and had a rich pistachio ice cream with it. Their jalapeno margarita was def spicy!
