This store manager (Will Last-Name-Unknown) cost his employees commission on a brand new iPhone 16 purchase this evening. He should apologize to them more than he should apologize to me, as he took money out of their pockets with his unprofessional and rude behavior. I was physically shaking after this experience.

When I asked to speak to the manager he informed me he was the manager. When I asked him for his name he would only provide me with his first name. I asked to speak to his manager and he reiterated that he was the manager and there was no one else I could speak to. I pointed out that he reports to someone, and that is who I would like to speak to and he refused to provide that contact. I told him that his behavior cost him a customer and I've since reported this incident to Apple. I've purchased my new phone online and will avoid this store should I need support ever again.

This store deserves all the bad ratings it receives and more. I suggest you go to the Apple store at the Flatirons Mall or any other location than this one.

UPDATE: Spoke with Apple customer support the same evening. Validated the issue I went in for help with is a software issue and NOT a hardware issue. Will and the Genius Bar team tried to sell me new hardware, without guaranteeing a fix. Further underscores I'm done with Genius Bar and their subpar support, just call the phone support line. The staff at the Genius Bar had no clue what they were talking about.

Tim (last name unknown but held himself out as a manager or Genius Bar supervisor of some kind) was utterly dismissive of a software issue with my iPhone 15 Pro. I had tried all of the troubleshooting options an employee had suggested on a prior visit and I came in asking for additional help after those suggestions failed to solve an issue with my messages app. A junior employee admitted the problem was not caused by user error on my part, that it was an issue on Apple’s side, and after requesting to speak to a supervisor, Tim told me that they were unwilling to even try replacing my phone. The conversation amounted to “we don’t know what the problem is, kick rocks.” I expressed my complete dissatisfaction with the fact that I had purchased a $1,200 piece of equipment (along with Apple Care+) and they were sending me out the door without any further assistance or plans to troubleshoot my issue for me. The customer service experience was horrendous and will be reported to Apple.

DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR PHONE! My new iPhone 16 pro is less than 45 days old and the screen suddenly became unresponsive. We drove 2 hours to this store for them to tell us that if the screen replacement didn't work, that they would replace the phone. Went back in today to pick up my phone from the "Genius Bar" and my camera is now not functioning and the phone still freezes up. They are refusing to replace the phone saying that we have to take it in again to get the camera replaced when it arrives in their store. My screen protector is now damaged because of them and things are now broken that weren't before they touched it. I have a new phone that does not work and they won't honor the APPLE WARRANTY in store. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE AS THEY WILL DAMAGE IT FURTHER AND NOT HONOR THEIR OWN WARRANTY!!! Looks like Best Buy will have to fix it under the warranty for me.

I went in for my 10:45 AM appointment…
I got there on time, and I was told:
“we will have someone with you in just a moment”
BUT
After being told the above statement repeatedly for over 30 minutes…🫤😑
I felt neglected as a customer and decided to leave the store and continue with my workday

Max is the MAN!!! Had a weird issue updating my computer and Max was not only insanely helpful and fixed the problem but was stoked about it the entire time. Very clear this guy loves his job and it made the experience a lot better. 5 STARS FOR MAX. Only reason for 4 stars was a scheduling error where my appointment was "auto-deleted" and i had to wait a bit to see someone (not Max's fault, that guy rules!)

My brother passed away in August, and his many Apple products sat in my basement for several months because I couldn't bring myself to do anything with them. I finally brought them into this store, and everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. A team gathered and spent two hours checking the many laptops, iPads, and other devices to see if they could be unlocked, restored, swapped for trade-in value, and/or recycled. Matt, Maneh, Meghan, Augie, Annalise, and others were wonderful and supportive, and made a crummy task feel a little more pleasant. Thank you all!

Awful experience with John the manager a few nights ago. Condescending and belittling to me. Walked out so frustrated and baffled why he would be so unbending and unkind. I wanted to exchange, not return an Apple Watch band bought mid December so it was beyond their 14 day return policy. This item is still for sale not discontinued. Oh well. I will not be spending anymore time or money at this store .

John, one of two store managers, is intimidating and condescending. He implied, despite the records on file (see below)
that my phone problems were all in my head. First he insinuated that my phone case was the problem. Then slipped the case off the phone showing me the phone was on Silent. I believe in the process of pulling the case off he intentionally turned the phone to Silent. A cheap “magic trick” of sorts. Then he said it was too noisy in the store to hear most pings, dings and rings on any type of phone. I wanted to call him out for his fabrication of the Truth and behavior, in front of 15 employees and 30+ customers. But my morals, values and principles made me refrain. Instead, I write this review to expose him. (Note: He owes me a Big Apology!)

[ History: From Jan 2024-April 2024 the Apple Store on 29th tried to solve my phone problems, no pings, dings or rings 80% of time. And only moderate sound volume. Weekly visits and 4-6 technicians, many 2 or 3 times, could not solve the issues. So in March, Jordon got me a new, free, phone, thinking that would solve the problem. But the same problems persisted. Nate, the technician, whispered to me in April 2024 that I should call the Apple 800 phone number and talk to a Sr Advisor, for solving my problems. (Note: Each visit to the store created a new case # in my file with associated notes.)
From April 2024 to date, Feb 2025, I have been working with Sr Advisors. I have been through 6-7 advisors. My problems have been elevated to Engineers 5-7 times. Calls and attempts to resolve my problems are almost weekly. (Note: Each call creates a new case # and additional notes.) Apple Inc gave me a new, free, phone in Oct- Nov 2024. Hoping that would solve my problems. But it did not. In mid December, Engineering told my current Sr Advisors Amanda, that “my new phone under warranty had problems that they could not fix”.
On Dec 20, 2025, I decide I would buy a Apple 15 out at my own cost, $800.00. Hoping that a different model phone would resolve my problems that were occur with my Apple SE phone(s). But still problems existing. And no one knows why?! Amahd ran a ph update on my phone this weekend. Amahd schedule me to meet with an Apple tech next weekend, Feb 20, 2025 at Best Buy. (Best Buy is instructed to create a second id set up to solve my problem.) So I don’t have to incur the rathe of John, again. (Note: Amahd filed a formal complaint against John on my behalf. As well as a second Sr Advisors, 2 weeks ago.) (Note, have spent over 20 hrs at the Apple Store in Boulder. And 100 hrs with Sr Advisors. And still no progress, improvements or resolution.
