Great customer service! We recently purchased a Chrysler Town and Country mini van from Griffin Automotive. They were very friendly and made it a quick and easy process. After a couple of months the van started to vibrate and shake while driving. We took it back to the dealer and they looked at it right away. We did not even need an appointment. Our van was fixed within a few days - all at their expense! I would not hesitate to buy another car from this place.

I'm so happy with my experience at Griffin Automotive! Bob Sr went out of his way to keep me posted on a 4runner I really wanted that got delayed in winter storms for almost a month! He called me as soon as it got in, gave me a greeeeeat price on my truck and then helped me sort out my out of state tags! It was honestly the easiest and best car buying experience I've ever had. Its been about 8 months now. I've had no issues with my vehicle and have already called Bob back twice to buy a truck for my mom.

First off, I am a legit customer and this is my real name. I purchased a vehicle from them a few years ago and had a good sales experience. Some of their cars come from Florida so as winter in Colorado hit, a couple of things popped up. My washer fluid froze my line for example. While they were willing to fix it for me at no charge, I did get some major attitude for asking. I was late for my appointment and before I could even apologize, the owner's son scolded me like a child and said he was busy now and couldn't do it. I stood there in shock for a moment but Luckily the owner saw this and told me to just leave the car. And Yes, this really happened. I appreciate them fixing the problem but the attitude almost cancels out the generous act.

I didn't have any issues with the vehicle except Within a few months of purchasing- I took it to be inspected and found out I needed the rack and pinion replaced on one side. That's a major job that I couldn't explain since my car had less than 40K miles on it and was never in an accident. I took it to 2 other mechanics who confirmed the same thing. I don't feel like the dealership was being deceptive but maybe a more thorough inspection of their inventory would have shown there to be a problem. I asked the dealership about a repair and what I was quoted was the same amount the corporate shops would have charged. Unfair considering I bought it that way from them. Guess that was a missed opportunity to earn 5 stars instead of 3. All in all, I've had both really good and really bad experiences here. The customer service from a two of them could definitely be stepped up.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!! I purchased a car for my daughter from this dealer and was told that the car had been inspected and was in great condition. She had it for not even 60 days and the check engine light came on and the car started sputtering every time she stopped, and every pump she went over caused the car to sound like it was bottoming out, and it made a noise that sounded like there was a rock in the engine or gas tank, the heater didn't work at all, of course she didn't know this until the first chilly day outside. I called the dealer and was told not to drive it in but to have their guy tow it, it would be no more than 50.00. Well, it would have been a 75.00 tow plus mileage (I'm not close to this place), but I set up the tow with him and I guess the tow guy is as unreliable as this dealer, because he never showed up. I wound up taking the car to my mechanic and $1200.00 later it seems to be running fine now. However, I forgot to tell him about the heater, and thought I would give Griffin a chance to at least make something right, so I called them again and was told pretty much tough @hi%, to take it back to my mechanic and have them fix it. The guy was rude and told me I was being combative, I didn't ask him to reimburse me for what I paid, just to look at the heater so I wouldn't have to pay any more. He put me on hold, and then disconnected me, I called back to see if he was going t at least look at the heater and he told me to take it back to my guy. The call ended with him telling me he was "done" and " wouldn't look at the car at all". This place is exactly why "used car dealers" have a bad reputation.

after reading some reviews, Bob proves how dishonest he is, in one post he states that they have been in business since 1930, but a year ago this was what he posted... "Response from the owner a year ago
You can see what a real lady this gem was, glad she left. Hopefully you did buy a vehicle from a Federal dealer, we have 60 cars on Sheridan. Fortunately after ten years in business these dumb reviews don't bother"
So, which is it this year, 11 years or 87 years. I wish I had read these reviews before going there. I would have avoided this joint like the plague!

FOLLOW UP: I did not ask for the 1200.00 to be reimbursed, I asked if the dealer would look at the heater that had not been fixed. My daughter is 26 years old and has a spotless driving record, there is no way she "broke" this car. I contacted the tow guy and he never showed up. I'm not sure what "inspection" I had on this car that the owner is referring to, we took it on a 15 min test drive and I asked if the dealer had done the kind of inspection the larger dealers perform and was told yes, obviously this was not the case. The bottom line is these people lie to sell their cars. After all, they are used car dealers and that's the extent they should be trusted.

Bob Sr. And Jr are great guys. Went in looking for a new vehicle and gained a new experience in car buying. The vehicle is solid and in great shape they have nothing to hide. These guys were both very informative, helpful and knowledgeable. They hand washed the vehicle for me before we left the lot. They may be a smaller dealership but I can tell these guys have big hearts and are passionate about their work. Thanks again fellas! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Sold me a reliable car at a great price and didn't stop helping until we were completely happy with the car.

This is a small family owned shop and everyone there was very helpful. I test drove the car, which was in great condition except for a couple cosmetic issues, and purchasing the car was easy. There was a crack in the windshield caused by the recent cold snap, and he immediately called someone to come replace the windshield.

There was one other small part that was making a lot of noise on the highway. I'm not sure the exact details (my dad has the car), but they were happy to take the car back in and fix it for no extra charge (which would normally be about $250). I really like how they provided such great service and handled any issues we had. I wish all car dealerships were like this.

Bob and his family were fantastic in helping me with the purchase of a 2008 Lexus ES350. All the vehicles at this lot are solid! My father has purchased 3 vehicles from Bob and hasn't had any issues!! Highly recommended, thanks for your patience with my situation!!

They had a 2009 Subaru Forester with about 20k miles for $13500. Sounds like a great deal right? Obvious hurricane Damage and upon more research discovered it was right in hurricane Irene’s path in Yonkers in 2011. From the Carfax they provided me (which is free for anyone)it showed it was serviced three days after the hurricane, after only 6 months and 750 miles driven previously. Did more research and confirmed it was Hurricane Damaged up to the steering wheel. Informed the people at griffin and they have yet to remove it from the lot. Hopefully they don’t sell it. I will also be making a complaint with BBB because this is a DEFINITE safety issue and liability. Just be careful.. buyers beware and do your research if you get a car here..
