Our stay here was average and unremarkable, and I would not even be leaving a review.

However, as we were cleaning up our room before checkout, we found a half used pack of cigarettes under the edge of our bed. Neither of us smoke. This is absolutely disgusting and raises questions about the quality of cleaning being done in these rooms. I do not know how the cleaners could have missed it if they were doing their job properly.

The staff were great and the breakfast was solid. View of the mountains was nice, but you can get that anywhere in the area.

The bed and furniture need an update. It looks nice in the pictures but in person the furniture is fairly warn. The bed was mediocre, the pullout couch I slept on at families house I slept on the night before was more comfortable. The molding in the bathroom was broken, a piece was missing. Bathroom sink had a leak that may have been repaired but there was clearly a water stain underneath the pipes that had been there awhile. There was also a faint odor in the room, I couldnโ€™t figure out what it was but it wasnโ€™t pleasant.

Worst experience at a hotel, EVER! Our daughters (16 &17) asked to go to the pool. After about 15-20 mins we get a panicked call from them that the ceiling tiles came Crashing down on them. We
Run down the stairs bc the elevator barely works and find them with 4x4 tiles around them, on them, shattered everywhere. Both injured from a ski race, one on crutches and the other with a shoulder tear cannot safely reach their shoes and crutches to escape the mess. My husband has to clean up all the tile mess bc the night receptionist was so shocked and unsure what to do. We get the girls back to our rooms to calm down; one of them has a contusion from the tile hitting her in her head. At that time we notice all the mold growing in the grout, on the tops of the tables, and the wall where the tiles just fell from. We also note the same situation of loose bubbled drywall with heaving tile on it in the same area and directly across from where they were sitting. Also noted were two box fans when we later asked the manager he was in agreement with us that our statement that the dehumidifier was not working was in fact true. It took 2 1/2 days to finally speak to the manager who became very defensive, argumentative and refused to go into the pool area with us to examine the pool room. We asked for him to call us on several occasions, we waited around until almost 10 AM Him to come in as his staff says heโ€™s typically in on Saturdays between nine and 10 and he never showed up. We caught him Chance as we were leaving Sunday morning. He was dressed so unprofessionally that it matched the level and degree of the hotel staff and pool. It makes sense why is in shambles when one cannot even be presentable for the position they are in. Between the time of the accident and the following morning more tiles had fallen off the wall and they simply had a contractor in their spackling over the mold where the tiles had bent. The pool should be closed down for major repairs but was open with little kids playing and a door propped open to help with all the condensation since clearly the box fans were not working nor was the dehumidifier. This was not a recent issue as I had stayed here a month prior and the box fans were up, and there was immense amount of condensation throughout the entire pool area. So much so that my daughter and I only stayed for about 5 to 10 minutes before we felt uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here as the manager seems very unresponsive and unprofessional too many complaints. I have read numerous reviews online and find that he is always defensive and unhelpful. There is a beautiful Holiday Inn directly across from this hotel in the same parking lot and if you want to stay in basalt, the element is Gorgeous and their pool is not painted grubby looking green.

Use to love this hotel. Now it seems as if everyone brings their pets and all you hear is barking throughout your stay. Just a matter of time before the rooms smell like animal urine like other pet friendly hotels. Breakfast was awful the water was empty the entire time I was down there.

Long-time Diamond Member. Booked a 3 night stay with points for 180,000 points. A very high reimbursement rate for value. Stayed one night, my Aunt tragically passed the next morning in the local hospital. After shock and handling logistics, I checked out that day. It was after 12:00, but also before check-in time. I understood I would possibly lose points for that night due to the time. I did request consideration for reimbursement for the additional night.

Radio silence. I finally called Hilton Honors weeks later. The agent read the response from the manager. The manager was very thoughtful about the loss of a family member, then stated they would not refund due to revenue, inability to rent the room, and fairness to all customers. Again, I was willing to lose the one night that I checked out 2 hours late, but the manager opted to keep 180,000 points for a single night stay. Truly disappointing from my long-time favorite hotel chain.

We did not receive any housekeeping even after requesting it. The faucet was broken in the bathtub and the toilet didnt flush properly. We also were charged a $50 pet fee even though we didn't have a pet with us. Called the front desk afterwards and they told us we were sneaking in a dog. Definitely will not be staying here ever again. The Best Western across the street has nicer rooms and friendlier staff

Positive: Breakfast Negative: This is our worst experience, especially for the price we paid of $---night. Bed comforters were dirty. Toilet sink was draining too slow. I would not recommend people to stay in this Hampton Inn. I would ideally like a full refund.

Gold hilton honors member that used over 100,000 points to stay at this hotel for approximately 6 days during Christmas. I was almost Assaulted my a homeless person on this property that staff( Audra and Erica)regularly allow to come in and violate the complementary coffee and breakfast. Notified staff of this incident as the homeless person was still onsite causing a visible scene, with absolutly no response. Called the police myself only to have staff decline any action when asked by the police department.location also has several broken locks for the exterior doors allowing the homeless population run rampant thru the hallways at night and during the day. Leaking gutters surrounding the entire building causing ice buildup on sidewalks, another big safety issue. Hallways are never vacuumed or cleaned. Overall a real disgusting dump that's falling apart with no concern of staff. Was supposed to have a trip in Hawaii to a Hilton property that I'm going to cancel due to this horrible disgusting experience
