As soon as you walk in, you know you're in the right place. After 30 + years in the tactical training industry, it is refreshing to find a shop like this. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff,incredible selection of firearms and unlimited amount of upgrades and finishes. The custom work on firearms has no equal, I am having several of my personal firearms customized right now and the have their own custom made triggers (amazing upgrade and I've shot all the industry standards) on top of the slide cuts and paint finishes. I have been a tactical firearms and knife combat instructor for over 30 yrs and now I have the right firearms shop to offer my customers. Whatever your needs for your firearms, upgrades/finishes or repairs they can make it happen.

After much consideration I am taking the time to leave this review:

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE GO ANYWHERE ELSE

Here’s why:

Daniel the owner is as far as I’m concerned unprofessional across the board and his staff follows his example. I had to take my rifle (that I made a very specific build sheet for THAT THEY LOST!! and hand picked out parts for) back to them between 5-7 times cause they can’t get anything right. I had parts that on my gun that were cheaper than what I paid for. I left and brought it back to them multiple times purely out of frustration. The owner on several occasions was talking trash and down to me and other customers in front of other customers and staff in a demeaning tone. In addition the staff he has working for him doesn’t listen, failed to time my flash hider correctly causing my thread direct suppressor to come off the threads while at the range. (NOTE I waited several days not just the 24 hours as instructed, before shooting my gun to let the adhesive set/cure properly.) Nearly causing a baffle strike ruining a brand new suppressor. All because they didn’t apply the adhesive properly, indicating both an extreme lack of attention to detail and care. In addition the adhesive was applied in a very sloppy fashion leaving a residue all over the end of my barrel and muzzle of my rifle. The mag release they had put on didn’t function properly leaving me with a single shot semiautomatic rifle because every time the weapon was charged it dropped the magazine. Which tells me they didn’t test fire my rifle before releasing it back to me otherwise they would have identified this issue themselves. The worst part of it all to add insult to injury was the price gouging. I could have gotten the same rifle built by Viking Armament for about $1,300.00. I paid Daniel and his cronies $2,200 for a lackluster product. DO BETTER!!

The one good thing I can say is Daniel did at least have the decency to apologize but it’s still no excuse to treat your customers that way. Although I accept your apology I won’t forget my experience.

That’s ok I learned several lessons
-1 I’LL NEVER do business with you guys again and I will tell people to go anywhere else but 5013.

-2 I will never prepay for 100% of a product again either. I didn’t want to in the first place but that’s what Daniel required at the time of purchase.

-3 ALWAYS GET A COPY OF YOUR BUILD SHEET AND HAVE THE OWNER/ A STAFF MEMBER SIGN AND DATE IT.

Moral of the story if you want your stuff done right the FIRST time go to Viking Armament for friendly, knowledgeable, QUALITY service because you won’t get that at 5013 Tactical.

Best cerakote job I’ve ever seen. They also do really cool milling and laser work, they took an old beat up G417 to the end of the 21st century. Would recommend if you want unique work done. Thanks again Daniel & Ty

Bought wrong product by mistake as I'm new to the hobby and they refused to return a brand new unopened product! Overpriced, horrible customer service!

I first want to start off by when walking in for the first time the greeted me with such warmth. When I told them my price range they help me find a gun that would suit that price range. I asked a lot of question, they help me with all of them. Being a college student I was very careful in what I was going to spend money on. They never once got short with me and had patience with me. They showed me their products and showed to me what I was getting and why I was paying that price. They made it super easy and was the best gun buying experience I have had yet. They helped me out big time so I really appreciate them and have gained a new customer. Daniel was a great guy and even willing to come in on his off day to make sure I get my firearm.

I went in there looking to buy, and the owner spent a great deal of time with me letting me handle just about every gun in the store.

I’m way more used to grumpier gun store clerks that seem like they don’t want to do their jobs. I will be doing all my business with them moving forward. By far the best experience I’ve ever had in a gun store.
